ROMEO SANTOS’ Fórmula, Vol. 2 Awarded By The RIAA With 11X Diamante Certification
The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) awarded Romeo Santos’Fórmula, Vol. 2 with a new certification: 11X Diamante/RIAA Latin G&P Program.
For the first time, RIAA is incorporating streaming statistics into its certifications, an update that recognizes the enormous popularity of The King of Bachata Romeo Santos on social media. Fórmula, Vol. 2 was the only Latin release among the 17 albums that were certified yesterday under this new model.
The second studio album as a solo artist by the renowned Bronx-born singer-songwriter, Fórmula, Vol. 2 was released in February 2014 and has produced such chart-toppers as “Propuesta Indecente” (Indecent Proposal), “Odio” ft. Drake, “Eres Mía“, “Yo También” ft. Marc Anthony, and “Hilito“.
A record becomes eligible for Diamond certification upon reaching 10X Platinum, and Fórmula, Vol. 2 is now 11X Platinum according to the RIAA, which audits sales and streaming data for the music industry in the United States and Puerto Rico.

La asociación norteamericana RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) otorgó a Romeo Santos su prestigioso reconocimiento: 11X Diamante/Latin G&P Program por su álbumFórmula, Vol. 2.
Por primera vez, la RIAA está incorporando estadísticas de streaming en sus conteos de ventas, una actualización que toma en cuenta la enorme popularidad de El Rey de la Bachata Romeo Santos en las redes sociales. Fórmula, Vol. 2 fue el único álbum latino entre los 17 que fueron certificados ayer bajo este nuevo esquema.
Siendo el segundo álbum de estudio en solitario para este cantante y compositor nacido en el Bronx, Nueva York, Fórmula, Vol. 2 fue editado en febrero 2014 y de ello se han desprendido éxitos de la talla de “Propuesta Indecente,” “Odio” ft. Drake, “Eres Mía,” “Yo También” ft. Marc Anthony, e “Hilito.”
Un disco se hace elegible para esta valiosa presea de Diamante al superar 10 veces Platino, y Fórmula, Vol. 2 ha llegado a 11 veces Platino según las últimas cifras de la RIAA, que asesora las ventas y streaming para la industria de la música en Estados Unidos y Puerto Rico.
