Se trata de la versión remix de su reciente éxito “El Clavo“, nada menos que junto al ídolo juvenil Maluma. “El Clavo Remix” es una versión fulminante de la sexy y atrevida canción urbana que desde el estreno de su versión original ha recibido gran aceptación del público.

“Pocos días después de haber lanzado ‘El Clavo‘ estaba hablando con Maluma por texto y me comentó que le encantaba la canción. Ese día ambos estábamos en Miami, era uno de esos días libres que casi nunca pasan en nuestras carreras, así que decidimos ir a playa. Y de ahí sin planificarlo salieron dos colaboraciones: el remix de mi canción y un nuevo tema para el álbum de el. Tal fue el entusiasmo que nos pasamos esa misma noche escribiendo y grabando ambas canciones. Eso fue hace unas semanas. . . hoy sale ‘El Clavo Remix‘ y ya el próximo viernes sale ‘Hangover’ en el álbum F.A.M.E de Maluma“, expresa Royce.
En “El Clavo Remix” los intérpretes proponen ayudar a que una chica olvide a su pareja que no la trata bien, precisamente enamorándola y reemplazando al hombre de su vida. Esta propuesta puede ser muy atractiva para muchas mujeres (y tal vez la pesadilla de algunos hombres). A eso se le une un ritmo pegajoso y bailable y el resultado es explosivo.
“El Clavo Remix” es una composición de Prince Royce, Maluma, Edgar Barrera, Camilo Echeverry y Luigi Castillo. El tema fue producido por Edgar Barrera y co-producido por Royce.
Recientemente Royce recibió el Premio Billboard por “Canción Tropical del Año” con el tema “Deja Vu”, colaboración con Shakira, canción que llegó a ocupar la posición #1 como tema Tropical del 2017 según el listado de fin de año de Billboard.

“A few days after dropping ‘El Clavo‘ I was talking to Maluma via text and he told me that he loved the song. That day we were both in Miami, it was one of those rare days off that almost never happen in our careers, so we decided to go to the beach. From that day, without planning it, came two collaborations: the remix of my song and a brand new song for his album. We were so excited that we spent that same night writing and recording both songs. That was a few weeks ago . . . today ‘El Clavo Remix‘ debuts and next Friday ‘Hangover’ will be released as part of Maluma’s F.A.M.E album,” says Royce.
In “El Clavo Remix“, heartthrobs Royce and Maluma sing about wanting to help someone to get over a boyfriend who doesn’t treat her well, precisely by romancing her and replacing the guy in her life . . .
