“DE TODAS LAS FLORES”, la canción que detonó el nuevo álbum de NATALIA LAFOURCADE ya está disponible en plataformas
Natalia presentará su nuevo álbum el próximo 27 de octubre en el Carnegie Hall, Nueva York.
MIAMI (22 de septiembre de 2022) – “Es la columna vertebral del nuevo álbum, fue la canción que detonó todas las que vinieron después”, revela Natalia Lafourcade sobre “De todas las flores”, primer sencillo de su nueva producción discográfica, la primera 100% original desde 2015.
El proyecto inició hace 3 años, cuenta la cantante que tras el lanzamiento de Hasta la raíz (2015) se dedicó a explorar a profundidad el folclore latinoamericano con 4 discos que le valieron múltiples GRAMMY® y Latin GRAMMY®. “Un amigo me recordó que hace mucho no escuchaba algo puramente mío”, relata “Eso me hizo tomar conciencia de que tal vez me estaba escondiendo de lo inevitable: de encontrarme conmigo misma”.
Bajo este contexto es que nació lo que la propia compositora describe como un diario íntimo. “Esa toma de conciencia que nació con ‘De todas las flores’ me hizo emprender un viaje súper profundo. Busqué reflejarlo en la letra y en la dirección del coro de mujeres que se escucha; es como la energía de la mujer volcán, la energía de la mujer curandera con el canto que limpia, el canto que alivia. Llegué a ese jardín que se había quedado abandonado y vi nuevas flores nacer”, concluye.
En el nuevo álbum, además, se sella la amistad de años que tiene con el reconocido productor Adan Jodorowsky (Mon Laferte, Bandalos Chinos, León Larregui). Natalia Will Present Her New Album On October 27th At The Carnegie Hall Of New York City.
MIAMI (September 22, 2022) – “It is the backbone of the new album, it was the song that triggered all the ones that came later”, Natalia Lafourcade reveals about “De todas las flores”, first single of her new musical production, the first 100% original one since 2015.
The project started 3 years ago, the singer tells that after the release of Hasta la raíz (2015) she dedicated herself to deeply explore Latin-American folklore with 4 albums that were worth multiple GRAMMY® and Latin GRAMMY®. “A friend reminded me that it had been a long time since he listened to something purely mine”, she says. “It made me aware that maybe I was hiding from the inevitable: finding with myself”.
In this context, what the songwriter describes as an intimate journal was born. “The awareness that was born with ´De todas las flores´ made me embark on a really deep journey. I searched to reflect it in the lyrics and the direction of the women’s chorus that is heard; it is like the energy of the volcano woman, the energy of the healer with the singing that cleanses, the singing that heals. I arrived at that garden that had been abandoned and saw new flowers reborn”, concludes.
In the new album, moreover, she seals her long time friendship with the renowned producer Adan Jodorowsky (Mon Laferte, Bandalos Chinos, León Larregui).
Natalia Lafourcade will share a series of voice notes, WhatsApp messages and the demos of the songs, which she registered in her cell phone for more than three years, in her 12 chapter podcast titled “De todas las flores: The Podcast”. There, she will grant the listener an access to the personal and intimate spaces, which will reveal a journey in time, in her interior world and that harmonious chaos that, in the process of creating an unpublished album, is part of the daily routine.
