BECKY G LANZA SU PRIMER SENCILLO EN ESPAÑOL “SOLA”

PRÓXIMAMENTE SE ESTRENARÁ SU ÁLBUM DEBUT EN ESPAÑOL

A poco tiempo de su estreno, “Sola” debutó en el #1 en tiendas digitales y fue destacado por Billboard, E! Online Latino, al igual que en otros medios de comunicación más.

“Sola” marca un hito en la trayectoria de Becky G, siendo su debut oficial en la música latina de la mano de Kemosabe / RCA Records / Sony Music Latin. Esta canción sirve de escaparate para su voz única, su contenido lírico, su melodía pegajosa y sus arreglos seductores que están a cargo de su productor y amigo entrañable A.C. Se trata de una excelente tarjeta de presentación para demostrar su evolución musical y sus influencias de siempre. Además, Becky G está emergiendo como ejemplar de la juventud bicultural de la Generación Milenio, mostrándose orgullosa de sus racies y cantando en español. El público latino ya la conoce por su colaboración “Can’t Get Enough” con Pitbull que llegó al #1 en la lista Latin Songs de Billboard.

El 26 de junio, se unió con Pitbull para presentar “Superstar” en el partido final de la Copa Ámerica Centenario. Este 14 de julio, se presentará en los Premios Juventud en Miami. Recientemente Becky G aceptó el papel de Trini, la Ranger Amarilla, en el largometraje Saban’s Power Rangers, producido por el prestigioso studio Lionsgate.

Nacida en Inglewood, California de padres mexicano-americanos, Becky G creció influida por artistas de la talla de Jennifer López, Christina Aguilera, y Thalía. De forma autodidacta, aprendió a componer y grabar música a temprana edad. Luego de años de desarrollar su estilo tranquilamente, saltó a la fama internacional con su éxito doble-platino “Shower” (2014). A sus 19 años, fue nombrada por Rolling Stone entre los “18 Adolescentes Sacudiendo La Cultura Popular.” Alcanzó su primer #1 en la lista Latin Songs de Billboard con la canción “Can’t Get Enough” [feat. LOS ANGELES, CA (July 5, 2016) – Multiplatinum singer, songwriter, actress, and recording artist Becky G releases her very first Spanish-Language single “Sola” at all digital retailers. It’s available HERE.

Upon its premiere, the single debuted at #1 in digital stores and was featured by the likes of Billboard, E! Online Latino, and many more.

“Sola” marks Becky G’s formal Latin debut single released via Kemosabe / RCA Records / Sony Music Latin. Her instantly recognizable voice and dynamic lyrical content drive the song as she carries an infectious hook over sexy and soulful production by long time friend and collaborator A.C. It’s the perfect introduction to her latest musical evolution and lifelong influences. Moreover, she emerges as a voice for bicultural millennials, embracing her heritage and singing in Spanish. She’s no stranger to Latin audiences either, achieving her first #1 on the Latin Billboard Charts with “Can’t Get Enough” [feat. Pitbull].

On June 26, she joined Pitbull for a performance of “Superstar” at the Copa America Centenario Final Match. Next up, she’s scheduled to perform at Premios Juventud in Miami on Thursday, July 14. Becky G was recently cast as Trini, the Yellow Ranger in Lionsgate’s upcoming film, Saban’s Power Rangers.

Born in Inglewood, CA to Mexican-American parents, Becky G drew early inspiration from the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Christina Aguilera, and Thalía, teaching herself to write and record music at a young age. After years of quietly developing her sound, she found international success with the double-platinum smash “Shower” in 2014. By the age of 19, she placed among Rolling Stone’s “18 Teens Shaking Up Pop Culture” and achieved her first Billboard Latin #1 hit with “Can’t Get Enough” [feat. Pitbull].
