Luis R. Conriquez was born in February 1996 in Caborca, Sonora, where he worked various jobs while looking for an opportunity to enter the music industry. In 2019, he released his first single, “El Búho,” under the label Kartel Music, now renamed K Music, which opened the doors to his music career.
In 2020, he released Vol. 1 of what would become a defining project in the corrido scene: “Corridos Bélicos.” In 2021 and 2022, he completed his first concert tour across the United States and Mexico and released “Corridos Bélicos” Vol. 2 and Vol. 3, solidifying his position in the Mexican music movement through collaborations with Eduin Caz, Natanael Cano, Grupo Frontera, and Peso Pluma.
Showing the versatility of his music, Conriquez has also worked on international collaborations with Colombian artist Ryan Castro and Puerto Rican artists Farruko and Nicky Jam. “Corridos Bélicos Vol. IV,” released in 2024, features 21 artists from the genre in a unique cultural moment that will be difficult to replicate.
He began 2025 with strong momentum, announcing the “Trakas HDSP” tour. Additionally, in May of this year, the Sonora native traveled to Saudi Arabia to accompany Saúl “Canelo” Álvarez during his famous walk to the ring.
