Miami, FL (29 de enero de 2013) – Un verdadero pionero influyente del rock en español, Vicentico nos entrega un nuevo tesoro con su quinto álbum de estudio, titulado Vicentico 5.
Un compositor talentoso que posee la voz inconfundible y sabia de un ser humano que ha tenido muchas vivencias pero quién sigue teniendo un corazón abierto. Vicentico 5 estará disponible en tiendas físicas de los Estados Unidos a partir del 29 de enero y llega desde Sudamérica con muchas notas positivas: es un Disco de Platino en su natal Argentina y el primer sencillo "Creo Que Me Enamoré" es todo un éxito radial a lo largo del continente.
Producido por el reconocido maestro Cachorro López (que ha trabajado con estrellas de la talla de Reik y Julieta Venegas), Vicentico 5 desborda melodías encantadoras y lleva consigo un ambiente clásico de pop-rock, con arreglos musicales directos y vibrantes. Vicentico es el compositor de ocho de los 11 temas de su más reciente álbum y en seis de ellos, comparte créditos de autoría con López. Este disco también incluye versiones nuevas de "The Winner Takes it All" de ABBA (titulado "Solo Hay un Ganador"), "No Te Apartes de Mi" de Camilo Sesto y "Esto de Quererte" de Xuxa.
Perceptivo y sagaz, Vicentico canta sobre relaciones de pareja desde la perspectiva de alguien que entiende la naturaleza humana al igual que sus propios defectos. Sus letras nos dan mucho de que pensar, mientras su música nos regala melodías muy memorables.
En su papel de vocalista líder de Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, Vicentico es conocido como un ícono del rock en español. La popularidad de su canción de protesta "El Matador" (1993) cambió la cultura de expresión libre en Argentina y en Latinoamérica, y marcó el comienzo de una época más abierta.
En 2002, Vicentico emprendió su carrera de solista, con la cual ha cosechado mucho éxito entre los amantes de la música rock, pop y alternativa. Entre sus canciones más sobresalientes están "Culpable," "Se Despierta la Ciudad," y su versión nueva de "Los Caminos de la Vida".
Se reencontró con Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, grabando dos discos y emprendiendo una gira durante 2008-2009, luego en 2010 reanudó su carrera de solista.
A finales de 2012, Vicentico colaboró con el honorable intérprete norteamericano Tony Bennett en su álbum Viva Duets, cantando “Cold, Cold Heart”.

VICENTICO: ONE OF SPANISH ROCK’S ALL TIME GREATESTS IS BACK WITH A NEW ALBUM VICENTICO 5
Miami, FL (January 29, 2013) – A truly influential and admired pioneer of Spanish rock, Vicentico adds to his remarkable discography with his fifth studio album, titled Vicentico 5.
A a gifted songwriter that possesses the unmistakable, sage voice of someone who's seen it all but still has an open heart. Vicentico 5, is available in physical stores in the US starting January 29, 2013, and arrives with plenty of positive buzz thanks to its success in South America, where it's gone Platinum in Vicentico's native Argentina, while the first single of the album "Creo Que Me Enamoré" (I Think I Fell In Love) has become an airplay hit across the continent.
Produced by the virtuoso Cachorro López (who has worked with important Latin artists such as Reik, Julieta Venegas), Vicentico 5 is filled with hooks, while retaining a timeless pop-rock atmosphere and musical arrangements with a vibrant, live feel. Vicentico wrote eight of the 11 songs on Vicentico 5, sharing co-writing credits with López on six of them. As the former lead singer of Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, Vicentico is an icon of Spanish rock. The unstoppable popularity of the group's 1993 protest song "El Matador" (The Bullfighter) forever changed the culture of free expression in Argentina and Latin America and helped usher in an era of openness.
In 2002, Vicentico launched a solo career, which has brought him continued success with pop, rock and alternative fans and produced such original hits as "Culpable", "Se Despierta la Ciudad" and his new version of "Los Caminos de la Vida".
He reunited with Los Fabulosos Cadillacs for a pair of albums and a tour during 2008-2009, before resuming his solo career in 2010.
