Los Angeles, CA (17 de octubre, 2012) - Sin duda estamos hablando de un DVD de colección…15 videos donde padre e hijo dan una cátedra de interpretación de nuestra música. Don Vicente Fernández trabajó arduamente con Don Benjamín Hidalgo, productor de los musicales realizados para un programa especial de televisión, los cuales ahora se incluyen en el DVD de esta edición especial.
Cada musical fue realizado en diferentes locaciones del rancho Los 3 Potrillos, logrando un gran trabajo fílmico. Durante varios días fueron grabados los 15 videos; fue precisamente Don Vicente quien colaboró en la elección de los diferentes escenarios y además preparó junto con su hijo los vestuarios que portan elegantemente en este trabajo fílmico.
Con la calidad de quien se ha convertido en un ícono de la música mexicana, así como con el talento y estilo de su hijo mayor, hemos tenido la oportunidad de escuchar los 14 temas que conforman esta aventura de la Familia Fernández y ahora ya es posible disfrutar también sus respectivos videos. Vale la pena señalar que la décimo quinta canción (video) está considerada como el Bonus Track del DVD y es nada menos que el clásico “QUÉ BONITO AMOR”, tema musical de la telenovela del mismo nombre que comenzará a transmitirse próximamente por Univision.
En “LOS 2 VICENTES – EDICIÓN ESPECIAL” Vicente Fernández interpreta, con la experiencia de casi medio siglo de trayectoria, ocho grandes canciones en solitario y también lo escucharemos a dueto con su hijo, con un tema sumamente sensible, ya que en él ambos manifiestan el enorme cariño que tienen por Doña Refugio Abarca, conocida cariñosamente como “Cuquita”, esposa y madre, respectivamente, de los dos Vicentes. Esta canción se titula “Vamos a Cuidarla Más” y fue compuesta expresamente por Manuel Eduardo Toscano para que la interpretaran padre e hijo. El resto de las canciones son interpretas únicamente por Vicente Fernández hijo.
Como ya es sabido, Don Vicente Fernández anunció su gira de despedida de los escenarios; actualmente recorre varios países siempre obteniendo un gran éxito gracias al cariño que ha sembrado a lo largo de décadas. En varios de sus conciertos lo ha acompañado en el escenario su hijo, dando muestras fehacientes de que también sabe cantar muy bien las rancheras.
Es un hecho que Don Vicente continuará su carrera dis¬cográfica, tiene muchos proyectos por realizar y sus condiciones vocales son óptimas. Los Angeles, CA (October 17, 2012) - Without a doubt, we’re describing a collector’s ítem…15 videos where father and son give a master class on how to interpret the music of Mexico. To make this DVD come to fruition, Don Vicente Fernández worked tirelessly with Don Benjamín Hidalgo, who produced the included music videos, which were originally aired on a TV special.
All 15 videos were shot on location at Vicente Fernández’s expansive Three Colts Ranch. With impeccable planning and execution, Vicente Fernández, known as the Cowboy of Huentitán, helped select the locations for filming. Alongside his son, he also prepared all 15 of his illustrious custom-made outfits for this special.
With the quality that’s made him the icon of Mexican music, along with the talent and style of his namesake son, Don Vicente Fernández joins Vicente Fernández, Jr., on a musical adventure through 14 exquisitely crafted songs and videos. The 15th song/video is considered a Bonus Track on this DVD. It’s the classic track “QUÉ BONITO AMOR,” which is the theme song for the upcoming telenovela of the same name on Univision.
On this landmark album, Vicente Fernández brings his half-century of performing experience to bear on eight grand songs. In a history-making collaboration, father and son perform together on the landmark duet “Vamos a Cuidarla Más,” where they pay heartfelt tribute to Doña Refugio “Cuquita” Abarca, the wife and mother, respectively, of the two Vicentes. Written specifically for the Fernández family by the great ranchera composer Manuel Eduardo Toscano, this song joins the long list of classics that Toscano has penned for Don Vicente over the years. The rest of the songs feature the vocals of Vicente Fernández, Jr..
