Tres años después, Fonseca lanza GRATITUD, con el cual debuta enla posición #1 y lograr recorrer más de 25 países, Europa, China y 16 ciudades en Estados Unidos, con su gira GRATITOUR.
Enel 2011, Fonseca presenta ILUSIÓN, obteniendo su segundo Latin Grammy como “Mejor Álbum Tropical Fusión” al igual que certifica Quíntuple Disco de Platino y Disco de Diamante por las ventas en Colombia y Oro en múltiples países de Latinoamérica.
El mismo año recibe un Premio Texas a Mejor Artista Tropical y una nominación al Grammy como “Best Latin Pop Album”.
En el 2014, Fonseca lanza FONSECA SINFÓNICO DVD, una recopilación de sus éxitos grabados en formato sinfónico junto a más de 100 músicos de la Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de Colombia. Fonseca es galardonado con su tercer Latin Grammy como “Mejor álbum de Pop Vocal Tradicional” y certifica tres Discos de Platino en Colombia.
En Junio del 2015, Fonseca estrena “Entre Mi Vida y La Tuya”, tema con el cual se posiciona enel # 1 en Colombia, Ecuador, en la lista Tropical de Billboard y se mantiene en las primeras posiciones a nivel internacional por más de nueve semanas. “Entre Mi Vida y La Tuya” es el primer corte musical de su nuevo álbum de estudio CONEXIÓN, lanzado el 2 de octubre del 2015.
CONEXIÓN, producido por Julio Reyes Copello y compuesto por Fonseca, presenta ese sonido único de Fonseca, ese que fusiona diferentes géneros y ritmos hasta transformarlos en grandes composiciones y que lo han convertido en uno de los artistas latinos más importantes enla industria musical latinoamericana.
The three times Latin Grammy winner, born in Bogota, Colombia, best known by his last name: Fonseca, releases in 2002 his self-titled debut album in Colombia garnering rave reviews and heavy rotation onradio stations.
His follow up album titled Corazón (Heart) (2005) won a Billboard Latin Music Awards in the category “Best Tropical Album”. “Te Mando Flores”, one of the songs included on the album, was granted a Latin Grammy for “Best Tropical Song” while Fonseca earned the same year, a spot in the international music map, by being awarded the “Best New Tropical Artist” both in Premios Lo Nuestro and MTV Latin Music Awards.
Three years Later, Fonseca releases his new album Gratitud debuting at No.1. The album’s tour GRATITOUR traveled to more than 25 countries, reached 16 cities in the United States and took Fonseca for the first time in his career to Europe and China.
In late 2011, Fonseca releases Ilusión, which certified Quintuple Platinum in Colombia (Diamond) and Gold record in multiple countries in Latin America. In 2012, Fonseca earns his second Latin Grammy in the category “Best Tropical Fusion Album” for Ilusión, wins “Best Tropical Artist” at the Texas Awards and receives an important nomination to the Grammy awards for “Best Latin Pop Album”.
On July 2014, Fonseca launched one of the most important projects of his successful career: the DVD FONSECA SINFÓNICO, a compilation of his greatest hits recorded in classical format along with more than 100 musicians from National Symphony Orchestra of Colombia. This album earns Fonseca his third Latin Grammy in the category “Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album” and certifies three Platinum records.
In June 2015, Fonseca premieres on radio stations his brand new single “Entre Mi Vida y La Tuya” from his anticipated fifth studio album “Conexión”, released October 2, 2015. The single hit the # 1 spot in Colombia, Ecuador and on Billboard’s “Tropical” chart while it remains Top 5 in multiple countries in Latin America.
Produced by Julio Reyes Copello and composed by Fonseca, “Conexión” showcases his unique sound, the one that merges different rhythms and genres until transforming them into incredible songs. Versatility has been his trademark throughout his growing and influential career as a singer/songwriter.
